Alison Byrne Fields

When I was a student at NYU, I was stopped one day while walking up Broadway near 8th St. The guy told me he liked my shoes, which happened to be pretty plain black Mary Janes, and asked me if he could see them up close. I took off my right shoe, handed it to him and he ran away, down Broadway, with my shoe.

Now that's an idea. ;)
