John:

Thanks for putting together this thoughtful and well articulated post.

Doing SM well requires multi-dimensional integration. It is no good to talk about your great service on Twitter if the reps still don't show up to my house on time.

Brilliant. I have been pushing the importance of social media integration and you have taken it to the core of execution points on multiple dimensions. Social media success is only as good as the integration across all business groups, functions, strategies, and execution points. This is the most important opportunity/challenge for 2011 (since too little has been done in thus far).

Thanks,
Social Steve

Great post John. Very helpful. My take on integration in 2011 in my SmartBrief column here: http://bit.ly/ehlbxT
