CES 2: Backstage Crew

I meant to bring this up before but CNET has some excellent looking coverage of CES. They have also done something quite clever by soliciting a collection of nine readers to attend the show and blog about their experiences. It's called the Backstage Crew. Some readers are established professionals in the field, some are in related fields. All are techno enthusiasts. Anyway, these guys (yes, all men) won and were invited and outfitted with cameras to do a daily photo journal. Not many have gotten beyond the first day of posts (Thursday). It seems like a great way to engage WOM and extend your coverage from the professional journalists. I enjoyed browsing through their photos as a journal of their experience, not necessarily to get a bead on the most imapctful next technology. It really helped me be there when I couldn't make it.
